Mainframe Tech Support

We are looking for professionals willing to support one of HP's largest global accounts. You will be part of a global team providing world class IT support and services to our customers. You will interact and work with highly competent and motivated individuals to provide value added IT services which will embody HP's value proposition.

This person would have to follow documented operational procedures and processes independently. Apply knowledge and skills to identify impacts to customer service. Determine the appropriate actions in response to impacts independently, providing support and guidance to the team. Identify areas for improvements, make recommendations for enhancements and follow through to implementation.


Requirements:

•Must have a background in computer science, a related discipline or equivalent work experience.

•Must have good customer handling, communication and documentation skills.

•Must have very good analytical thinking, strong troubleshooting skills and must be an independent worker.

•Basic experience/knowledge in Large Platforms Support: AS400, as well as at least 1 year of hands-on experience in Mainframe

•Interaction with internal and external partners

•Professional verbal and written communication skills

•Strong consulting skills.

•Basic experience/knowledge in ITIL/ITSM (Infrastructure Technology Service Management)
