This person will participate in a global team that provides daily management of a client’s environment through expert level troubleshooting, problem solving and change management for their IT Infrastructure.
This role requires individuals to combine a customer service approach to restore client services with an innovative solutions approach to reduce or eliminate unplanned service outages following operational policies and processes that are compliant with industry standards – ITIL.
Requierements:
•Intermediate/advanced level in Windows/Linux/Unix OS
•Intermediate/advanced knowledge in one or more Database Administration technologies and components. (ORACLE, MS SQL Server, DB2)
•Technical mastery in one of the above skill sets/platforms is recommended.
•Typically 2-5 years of relevant experience.
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
•Strong collaboration skills are required.
•Candidate must demonstrate effective verbal and written English communication skills.
•Position requires participation in shift rotations covering Asia and partial EMEA business hours Coverage hours are between 6AM – 6PM local time.
•Occasional weekend coverage is required. High level of initiative and ownership.
•Background any of the ITIL Service Management disciplines is valuable, but not required.
