Responsibilities:
The position will work to understand the various Panama Financial Accounting Services salaried roles within the team and serve as backfill when employees are gone due to job changes or vacation and train new employees if applicable. The employee will need to learn and understand the details of the positions to be able to perform the functions without assistance and train others to do the same. These positions may include supporting the following functions: capital assets, inventory purchasing analysis, intercompany invoicing and website support, freight forwarding, and Corporate Offices reconciliation and journal entry tasks.
Qualifications:
Requires a minimum of 12 credit hours in accounting courses earned at a college or university or equivalent accounting experience. Must demonstrate initiative, leadership, analytical and problem solving skills, the ability to work in a team environment and ability to communicate effectively. Must also be able to learn accounting/financial concepts and positions quickly and be able to train others on those same concepts and positions. Fluent in English. Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Desirable Qualifications:
Able to work independently.
